Even if graphic design is only one part of the “communication” cornerstone, a little reminder to show you how important it is for your business and not to be taken lightly.
Graphic design?
Graphic design is a discipline that consists in creating, choosing and using graphic elements (drawings, typographic characters, photos, colors, etc.) to develop an object of communication and/or culture. It is a way of representing. How useful for my business? Design presents your public image and dictates the perceptions of your products and services, and therefore of your brand. Don’t we say familiarly that the first image is often the right one? This adage is particularly valid when it comes to the feelings we have about a brand or its sign… It is more than likely that the first thing that will attract the interest of your potential customers is a website or an advertisement, a leaflet, a brochure, point of sale or packaging for your product. It therefore seems obvious that by using graphic design as part of an overall marketing strategy, you will maximize the return on investment of your advertising budget, and thus set yourself apart from your competitors. Establishing yourself with a distinct image and a strong message is the key to success in distinguishing yourself from the competitive stream. But it lacks something that most don’t consciously think about: it conveys a notion of credibility, beyond the graphic treatment.

Let’s think a bit…
Have you ever visited two different sites selling the same product for the same price? a more than questionable style and ergonomics. Which will you choose once you have made your choice? (at the fateful moment of taking out your credit card…) It is therefore obvious that choosing a site (for the example) and therefore a company, which has given itself the means to display an image that lives up to its aspirations will be privileged, because more serious and therefore more reliable. The graphic design does not necessarily reflect the quality of a product, but it is often the first impression your customer makes. By clearly indicating your positioning, you also ensure a certain unconscious reliability in the prospect. It remains to transform and retain your Internet users/prospects.

Express yourself!
Apart from the “credibility” aspect, graphic design can express your company’s style and attitude. Is your business modern chic or aimed at the children’s market? Customers can get an idea of your environment beyond your products themselves, if only by the graphic treatment of your image.

Brand New!
After establishing your “look” and your message, you can start tackling the brand. Everyone has heard of branding – the fixation of a logo or the specific look, style of your business.

But why?
First, the brand brings unity and familiarity to your product. The more a prospect is familiar with something, the more they will trust and accept it easily. Branding can also evoke feelings or memories, which can help them identify your business. Keeping a consistent image across all media (website, brochures, ads, etc.) helps your future customers remember and remember your brand/product.

Progress / forecast
Think about the image of your company and project it now. In which direction would you like it to go? Does it reflect your professionalism and attitude? Could it be better organized? A faithful presentation of what you give off, in a way your corporate identity, is therefore important, even essential, as the key to success. Without this, some companies ignore it for lack of sufficient knowledge or by the eternal aspect of economy of means: “My nephew draws really well, you will see, no need for the services of a professional for the same result!”. How many times have we heard this!
