Facebook has decided to change the color and the way of writing its main logo

FACEBOOK

After many years, Facebook decided to change the color and the way of writing its main logo in its brand changes.

Accustomed to blue for 15 years since Facebook launched its flagship app and parent network, the company decided to make some minor changes to its branding and logo as it has many other apps, platforms and products that have made it one of the world’s leading technology companies.

The new company logo will be fully capitalized like this, “FACEBOOK,” after being lowercase except for the first letter.

It will also add color changes without limiting blue as the sole color of the company logo since its inception 15 years ago.

Since Facebook has multiple apps and platforms, the main Facebook logo will be present during the rebranding and the color of the logo will appear in proportion to the color of the app or platform the company owns. For example, it will appear in gradient with Instagram and Green on Whatsapp and Blue on mainnet and so on.

The company has brands under arm that will use the main logo are Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Caliber, Workplace, Portal.

Facebook says the main reason its logo is applied to all of its products is to clarify its brand and related products.

Changing the main color of each app helps create harmony between your app and the logo image it contains.

New branding changes will take place in the coming days for all products, including the network’s main website.
